Playa Flamenca
Playa Flamenca is located in Orihuela costa, south of Alicante (25 minutes from Murcia Airport or 40 minutes from Alicante Airport). As well as sun, sea and beaches, you will find all sort of activities for the whole family, a shopping area, restaurants, bars and many sport activities.
It was after 1980 when this part of Alicante became known to tourists, many foreign people invested in property here, and that brought many benefits with it. The beach has a wide range of services available, and that, coupled with a fantastic weather most of the year, make Flamenca beach an ideal destination.
Do not miss the street market every Saturday, where you can buy all types of local products, household utilities and cheap clothing. It is also ideal for souvenirs for friends and relatives before returning home. The market can be found along the main road, just beyond the Mercadona supermarket.
Some excellent developments have been built in the past decade in Playa Flamenca to a high level, the area's popularity has not diminished and properties are moving much faster in the area.
This beach has a length of 150 meters with an average width of 16 meters, it is an open beach of fine sand located in a semi-urban area. Because of its condition and the services offered, it has been awarded the blue flag.
This is a very safe beach, constantly patrolled by police and a rescue service. There are many restaurants along the beach where you can taste the typical local dishes and delicious Sangria too ;-)
Flamenca beach is an ideal place for those wishing to spend a relaxing holiday. Within a short drive or bus to Torrevieja, you will find everything you expect from a thriving Spanish resort, boat trips, Aqua Park (summer time), karting, Tivoli (Fun Fair), cinema and bowling.
