Benidorm eventsThe fantastic festivals and celebrations made Spain famous all over the world, and the popular Benidorm subscribe to this more than lovely tradition with not less than 55 colorful fiestas a year!

Benidorm events evoque the town history, the saint patron and pays respects to the lively culture.

The first of the 55 events, opening with the new year is of course, the famous Carnival! This fiesta has it all – fancy dress competitions, “The Burial of the Sardine” contest, music and dancing all night!

If you scheduled your holiday in March you will have the opportunity to attend the colorful festival celebrating a ship disocovery on Poniente Beach in 1740. And is also the month of March that hosts the greatest of all Benidorm events - the Valencian festival of spring.

Three satirical sculptures are colorful decorated – Centre Falla, Rincon Falla and Els Tolls Fallas, one for each part of the city. Lots of dancing, music, street entertainment until the last night of the fiesta, when the Fallas are set on fire, while an amazing fireworks representation glorify the skies!

September brings a new big reason for a big party in Benidorm  – the celebration of the Moors banishing from the Iberian Peninsula in 1492. This is a three days must-attend fiesta! A fabulous parade of  “Christians” and exotic “Moors” in silky costumes, with crazy music rhytms, creating an almost hypnotic scene. Food, dance and a lot of wine till the end of the fiesta…

The  events continue in November with probably the most important fiesta for the Benidorm community - Las Fiestas Patronales, celebrating the Virgen of Suffrage and Jaime Apostle, the patron of Benidorm. A great reason for all sorts of contests, live concerts, and again, dancing and lot of wine.

Benidorm EventsEach month brings new and colorful  events  in Benidorm  such as The St. John´s Bonfire festival and the traditional Andalucian fiesta with horses processions, Romeria del Corpus in June or the Valencia Day exhibitions in November, and many other cultural, religious and historic fiestas.
