The city of Alicante is located in the south-eastern part of Spain in the region of Valencia. Alicante is also the capital of the Alicante region and a historic Mediterranean port. It is considered as one of the most populous provinces in Spain.



The climate is classic Mediterranean and the average temperature is 17.5ºC. Miles of soft sandy beaches and breathtaking mountains, excellent weather, palm trees and attractions are some of the things you will find in this beautiful part of Spain.

Alicante gains its wealth mostly by agriculture, fishing, industry, tourism and trade. Apart from Alicante city, other important centres of economic activity are: Alcoy, Denia, Javea and Benidorm (seaside resorts).
