Alicante to Benidorm by TRAM - Train
 Once you arrive to Alicante airport, go to bus stop 30 and take the C6 bus, tell the driver to let you know where "Puerta del Mar" stop is (it is the last stop anyway). DO NOT go to the main RENFE "estacion de trenes" (train station), it has nothing to do with it.
You are going to take the TRAM, a small gauge railway with an hourly service between Alicante and Benidorm. The stop "Puerta del Mar" is right next to El Postiguet beach (the city beach).
Take the TRAM up to "El Campello" station and then change from there to the FGV train that will take you up to Benidorm.
When on a train or tram, signal the driver you wish the train to stop at the next stop - Press the Yellow Button, near the door - note the button and a sign in the carriage illuminates when this has been done. Press the Green button to open the doors.

There are various buses departing from Alicante Bus station (estación de autobuses) in the city centre to Benidorm, Calpe and Denia.
The bus service starts at 7.30 am and the last bus departs at 21:00 hours (12 journeys daily).
For Denia, service starts at 14:00 hours and the last bus departs at 20:00 hours (4 journeys daily).
